Über mich
A student in Liverpool, UK, from Seattle, US. Traveling and theater are my passions! I love meeting new people more than anything, and I'm always up for a new adventure.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I travel quite a bit and find that meeting locals is often much more interesting than staying in hotels- I recently worked on farms for a month in New Zealand and it was an incredibly rewarding and fun experience. I also enjoy learning from new perspectives and engaging in discussions with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences.
As much as I'd like to host, I do still live with multiple housemates in a flat and we are unable to provide a couch at the moment. As soon as I get my own place, I will offer up whatever free space I have to travelers :)
Interessen
I'm currently studying Applied Theatre and Community Drama, or the practice of using theatre as a tool to foster community and promote social/political change. I'm very political while open to different viewpoints, and definitely a lover of the arts. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I have a huge appreciation for the outdoors and always love getting out to the nearest park or going on day hikes. I'm always up for cooking or baking as well :) food is love, as my Italian auntie always says.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Currently listening to: Bishop Briggs, Leon Bridges, Rihanna, Zolita, Hozier, Ibeyi, Maggie Rodgers, musical soundtracks, Ethiopian music and jazz.
Honestly I don't watch movies that often and usually go for tv shows such as Orange is the New Black, Parks & Recreation, Scrubs, Pretty Little Liars and Stranger Things. I'm really obsessed with the Antarctica documentary though - A Year on Ice. Absolute dream destination.
All time favorite books are A Wrinkle in Time, The Glass Castle, The Secret Life of Bees, The Phantom Tollbooth and the Humans of New York book.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which was one of the best experiences of my life, but is tied with three months travelling solo through seven countries at 18 which was insanely rewarding.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I know more than you'd ever want to know about community drama, facilitation techniques and musical theatre - and I can bake pretty good cookies :) Down to talk world politics anytime, there's always something new there. I'd love to become fluent in Italian (can speak a little but usually forget it all after a trip to Italy!). I'm also always willing to help out with babysitting, cooking, housework and gardening.
