About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make 'home' a term I carry with me, not a place I go to sleep
ABOUT ME
I am a Sophomore college student in the Twin Cities, MN. I have grown up with parents who have done much traveling in their lifetime, both for fun and for business (often biological research), and I have always waited to follow in their footsteps. I am thrilled to be in the stage of life where I am finally achieving that. I just finished 5 months of travel on my own in South America, and a visit to Mongolia to see my parents as soon as I got back.
I love meeting new people and sharing experiences in travel, I love that plans are always changing while traveling. I cannot claim anywhere as my current home, but I love the feeling of reconnecting with old friends and sleeping on the welcoming couches of new ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still just beginning to discover couchsurfing, but I have had a wonderful experience with my first couchsurf in Buenos Aires!
Interests
I love to be outdoors, especially to go hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, playing soccer, and running. I am very interested in photography and am learning as much as I can whenever I have the opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently lived in the desert in southern Argentina under a tree we called 'El Avatar'(because it was the mother tree) with a community of vagabond rock climbers. We drank out a water hole with a frog living in it.
