Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people from all over the world. Also I am planning to have more solo trips in the upcoming years so I hope to find new people wherever I go and explore cool places, amazing landscape, stunning beaches and waterfalls, mountains, etc.

Interests

I've been quite a sporty girl since I was young. I started swimming when I was 2yo. Then I started to join Bali dance and few other traditional dances... Growing up, I joined a basketball team on my junior high and early high school.. I am good at badminton as well and lately I've been doing martial arts for a few years now. I do muay thai, boxing, kickboxing and also luta livre (grappling) occasionally. When I'm in the mood to do something different I go for wall climbing or just a fun zumba session.

In addition to my sports interests, I have passion in fashion. I am not a designer nor a stylist but I love to style and mix match outfits from my wardrobe haha

I am also interested in learning new languages. Right now I am learning Italian and Germany from Duolingo app. It's fun and pretty interactive.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read books much. The only books I read were/still are my scientific books. I read online stuffs mostly. I study online university materials from different sites.

Music = house, deep house, rnb, hiphop, electro, jazz... Depends on my mood... Anything not Rock!

Movies = can't tell which ones are my favourites but I watch all Harry Potter series, Lord of The Rings, any Marvels movie...series like Game of Thrones, Riverdale, 13 Reasons Why, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, stranger things, etc... I watch many series...

What I Can Share with Hosts

In Switzerland:
Switzerland definitely has its own charm, it has no real beaches but its landscape never ceased to impress me. I live in Bern and on the weekend I usually plan to go hiking or just swimming in the lake or in the river during the summer.
As a host, I could tag you along my trip and show you nice spots in and around Bern :)
In addition, I can cook Asian food really well (in case you are bored with bread and cheese and salami :P )
I might not be home all the time as I am studying and working part time but I will try to make your stay memorable :)

In Indonesia:
As a host, I could accompany you explore Jakarta city and the cities around. Jakarta is a metropolitan city...so basically malls and clubs are the highlights of the city. But for you outdoorsy people I can show you some places to enjoy the historical part of Jakarta and also chill in the parks here because to be honest I am also an outdoor person haha!
Another thing I would want you to experience is to ride the public transport here. We have transjakarta, commuter line, bajaj, traditional buses (but not recommended and won't recommend you to ride this as well),also online transportation like gojek, grab, and uber. Driving would be much simpler but if you think it's more efficient it is not. Trust me, you might not bare the traffic on your first days here but for us Jakarta people, it's been our everyday struggle whenever and wherever we go. Unless you come here during Eid Mubarak. Haha
Last but not least, actually most importantly... I would take you to places where you can eat good Indonesian food. Indonesian food is loveeee 😍
