About Me

CURRENT MISSION : Climb up to the Tatev Monastery in Armenia!

I love travelling and playing any kind of sport. I like politics and philosophy. I feel italian but much more european, and I see Europe as my nation. I look forward to making new friends and experiences!

PHILOSOPHY: Set some ends and try to reach and fulfil them in the best possible way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's already more than 4 years that I have been part of this community, and year by year I have been adding great and wonderful experiences.
The reasons I'm a Couchsurfer are the incredible people I met, and with whom in many cases I became good friend, so, as the stories, the adventures and the experiences that I heard, shared and that I can now teach.

Interests

People, people are my first interest. I like to hear stories, I like to share stories, I like to plan great adventures to turn into great stories.
I'm a fanatic for languages and foreign cultures, love travelling, playing sport (specially winter sports, volleyball and ping pong) and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm addicted to fantasy and science fiction books (from J.K.Rowling to Asimov), thrillers and historical books come second and third. My favourite writer is Salinger.

I have no favourite music to be frank, I tend to vary the music I listen to, depending on what I'm doing and in what mood I am.
For example, to study or work, I prefer classical music, either from old composers or modern groups (Vivaldi, Mozart, Einaudi, Tiersen, Audiomachine).
Among the many Anglo-American artists, Sting, Rüfüs, Coldplay , U2 and Dido are the the ones I listen the most, among the Italian, German and other European musicians, Tiziano Ferro, Luigi Tenco, Adel Tawil and Stromae are also on top of my charts.

'Blueberry' is the password you'll have to write in your request to surf my couch in order to see if you really read my profile- I don't like copy-and-paste requests.
I love watching movies with friends on a cozy couch. If I'm in the mood, my first choice would be a well structured film, a biography or a a film based on a true story. If instead I just wanna plug off, a comedy, a trash horror, or a fantasy movie are definitely more appropiate movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I danced under the summer sun till midnight in Stockholm, I crossed the Atlas Mountains gripped on the roof of a Toyota in Morocco, I laid on the ground in the vast australian outback in Queensland, I saw the magnificence of Rome and Paris, I got stuck in a cab in Manatthan in the rush hour, I stared at the boreal lights in the depth of a forest in Lapland, I swam with wild dolphins in Thailand, I kayaked Milford Sound with friends in New Zealand, I scuba-dived with sharks in the Great Barrier Reef

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy and available to make up a language tandem or just to take a coffee and share an afternoon.

If I'm based in my hometown, Bologna, either on holiday or to study I'm available to organise tours and bring you in nice spots you wouldn't see otherwise.
