About Me

Im an advocate online for LGBT people and tell my story in hopes to inspire others.
I'm half Lebanese and Polish, but sadly don’t speak any other languages.
I'm super outgoing and friendly. I can pretty much get along with anyone I encounter. Maybe that's the customer service side of me haha. I am an extroverted introvert. Some days I'm ready to go out and dance and others I like to keep to myself and reflect. I'd like to stay with someone who is respectful of all kinds of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year I'll be using this to stay in cities that call to me. Last year I was on a road trip from Michigan to Seattle and met some great people, so I'm excited to see where this takes me.

The last time I was couch surfing, I identified as a transgender man and went by the name Issa. My references still reflect that and even though I am not that person physically anymore, I believe I still am the clean, outgoing, and kind person that was spoken of ;) just a little more wiser.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much anything. I like loud music, quiet music, live music, humming, whistling you name it!
As for movies, I really enjoy documentaries because they really show the inside of peoples lives.
I'm not a big reader, but always enjoy a must read recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've shared my story online for the last 9 years. I'm vulnerable and open about my journey of transition and detransition to help people navigate their gender identity. I felt the need to create a safe space for people to express themselves without shame or guilt. I hope to continue to reach people that are in need of guidance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think the best thing I can share is my life story and my listening skills. I'm very young, but have been through a lot. I always enjoy hearing others life experiences and advice.

Countries I’ve Visited

Côte d'Ivoire
