ABOUT ME

Right now I'm living in Montpellier, France with an awesome host family. It's my semester abroad during college and my first time in Europe. Although I do want to see a lot of other countries and cities, I really enjoy spending time in and around Montpellier.

I love to explore new places and meet new people. One of my favorite things to do in a new city is walk everywhere. Walking is the best way I've found to run into amazing things I never would find otherwise, plus I like being active. Right now I'm playing volleyball, taking salsa classes, and learning mountain biking through the University in Montpellier.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, I don't very much experience with couch surfing yet. Someone I worked with last summer told me about it, so when I got to France I remembered and now I'm having a great time getting involved. I like doing tourist things, but I also love to learn about cities and experience them with people who really know them because they live there. I had a wonderful experience with Regina in Toulouse, so I can't wait to meet many more wonderful people!

I like cooking, but mostly I love eating! I really enjoy doing physical activities like hiking, biking, and playing sports. I play a lot of volleyball, but I'm always ready to try something new. I love drinking anything that involves espresso, especially if it also includes chocolate!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing things I've seen is the sunset over the grand canyon in Arizona, USA. I was only about 10, but that image stuck with me because it was so incredible!

-I want to learn more about wine, especially since I am living in France right now
-I want to learn more languages, I like being able to speak in the native language when I go to a country. I don't want to count on people speaking english.
-I love learning to cook good food, because then I'll be able to eat it for the rest of my life. Especially desserts.

-I love coffee and espresso, I love talking about it, teaching about it, learning about it, and of course drinking it!
-I took a bartending class so I know a lot about that, I also know a lot about the different types of beer.
-I know an easy way to eat a mango... which apparently is not common knowledge
