ABOUT ME

I'm becoming more and more in-tune with my ideal self by getting out and exploring whenever I can, teaching myself a new hobby or two, and concentrating on reaching my physical and mental peak. No new experience is too frightening for me, and I get most excited about the possibility of doing something I have yet to visualize. The unknown is fascinating.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to participate any way I can. I really enjoy the CS community and opportunity it provides. I hate being labeled a tourist, and don't ever sign up for guided tours. It's cliche to say now-a-days, but I want to experience any place I am as if I live there. Feed me the street food, take me to the diviest of dives. What's the favorite drink here? Good, let's get drunk on it! I tend to say yes to about any new event or experience, and am especially adventurous right now, looking for a new place to call home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a host by proxy (college roommate) and surfed a couple times. I may be able to host currently, but spend most of my effort on hanging out with other surfers staying in my town. I'll be traveling often in the coming years, and hope to meet some great people during the journey.

Interests

Love watching sports and rooting for my teams. Love going out to celebrate anything, walk around iconic areas, and seek out specialty food and drink. I cook a ton, and love cooking for others. I'm teaching myself guitar, but I'm terrible at the moment... I have an appreciation for great photography, but have yet to invest the time or money into pursuing it myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything rock, alt rock, indie is what I listen to normally. Love the blues, and that's the focus of trying to learn guitar on my own. Love reading sci fi, and have a guilty pleasure for shitty action movies and anything resembling kung fu.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, I'm joining CS to be able to see and do some amazing things. I haven't traveled much in my life to date, but that's about to change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I build PC's, can work on cars, and am generally pretty handy I guess. I have medical knowledge from years of training and education.

I'd LOVE to get a matrix-style download of guitar knowledge.
