I grew up in Slovakia; did a year of "exchange student" stay in Germany when i was 18 and then at 23 left to go to the UK for a year to improve my english. I found a job with my current company and fell in love with the party life in the UK :)
After a year came back to Slovakia as I promised to my parents i will finish college and because I keep my promises. After few months back however I didnt like it so after a long discussion my parents gave me the green light so I returned back to the UK where my job was still waiting for me. In few year I found a guy, got married at age 27 and because he was actually American I moved with him to the US in 2012. Became US citizen in 2017 and living in Saugerties NY. I dont think I will be using couchsurfing too much as I really mainly travel home to see my family in Slovakia, but this time wanna meet them in Rome so trying to see my options. To meet a friend while I am traveling would be great and you will be always welcome in NY. We live about 2 hours car ride from the NYC :)
