ABOUT ME

I'm from California, but have lived abroad for the past four years. I'd be a student forever if I could afford it. International development, children, and social justice issues have widely captured my attention. I've been a play therapist, labor organizer, and now I'm working for an anti-trafficking organization. Went to grad school in Melbourne, and now I'm currently living in the Philppines. Although I've an intense curiosity to see most of the world, I'm now torn by the conflicting desire to create a permanent Home Base. Time and money are also small hindrances. Let us see.

I've been told I'm easy to get along with. I've also been told I'm 'funny'. Things in my possession: Rythm, Sound judgment, Gall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to gather a few backpackers together to travel through China at the beginning of June. I'll be starting from Sapa, Northern Vietnam. Tibet is the final destination. When I do finally move back to the Bay Area, California- I'd be happy to offer a couch then!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking flaming cocktails with Damien Hirst in Biarritz. Getting kicked out of a Vipassana retreat in Java (on the ninth day, mind you) for communicating with my Indonesian roommate. Driving a convertible in the rain with my Filipino dive master- to a cockfight.
