Hi there, my name is Mengjiao Chen, I also go by MJ.
I am a special education teacher. I have been living in U. S. for the last 14 years. I heard about couchsurfing 20 years ago and I was a host then in China.
Now my kids are a bit older and I felt like I can gain my independence again. I would like to host more friends and meet people again from other part of the world. And more importantly , I want to go out and visit others too.
I am a easy going, open minded person. I love listening to funny jokes and laugh out loud.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing 20 years ago and I was a host then in China from 2006 to 2011. I had so much positive experence and made some life long friends on couchsurfing.

I moved to Hawaii State, Oahu for three years with my four little kids.
I have been taking cold shower every morning for a year now.
I am a teacher.
I am a great cook.
I backpacked in Iceland with my daughter last year.
