Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi I'm Alice :) I study CS and work as a web developer. I get bored really easily so I always need to discover new things. In my spare time I like to be crafty and do things like cooking, sewing, crocheting or doing DIY. I also love being active, I play volleyball since I was 9 years old but I've tried other sports such as rhythmic gymnastic, swimming and boxing, I also love rugby, never played but watch every game (will Italy win the wooden spoon in the GM6N24? **Update: NOPE! And don't mention to me that damn last kick against France...).
But my favourite way to spend my free time is travelling! About every 6 months I need to take a rest from my life and buy a ticket to a place I've never visited (or to Ireland, where I fell in love and once in a while i need to explore again).
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
When I travel I love to discover the uses and customs of the places I visit, and I think the best way is to enter the life of a person who lives there, that is also the best city tour guide!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I listen to all kind of music, but I'm very fond of the Italian songwriting and (totally different) post-punk and punk rock music like Fontaines DC and Lambrini Girls.
I used to be a bookworm, and to buy and read a new book per week, but during the university years I preferred to do anything but open a book :| now that I'm finishing I hope to find again that passion.
Big Marvel, HP and LOTR fan, I know by heart every Disney and Pixar movie, but I like to go to the cinema to try new genres.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
When I was 17 I made a 120 km pilgrimage with a 10 kg backpack, and the last 10 km I made them barefoot (a weird but amazing experience) and when I was in Brazil I scored against 10 Brazilian children, which is an incredible thing since I don't know how to play football…
In 2021 I bought a one-way ticket to Ireland and I spent there 3 months (just because my parents threatened to disinherit me, otherwise it would have been more) travelling mainly in the western being a workawaier and staying with 4 different families.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
As a real Italian “Rezdora”, I can teach you many Italian dishes, but only if you teach me something from your national cuisine! :)
I follow the rules of Marie Kondo: my house is always tidy and clean, my wardrobe is organised in a colour scale and I can teach you some of the principles.
I’ve travelled a lot, not only physically, I had the opportunity to meet many people from all over the world in places like Taizé, the World Youth Day and over some apps like Slowly, and to learn something about their culture only sharing a good talk.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I'm pretty good at cooking, and I'm from one of the Italian regions with the most culinary variety, I'm sure I can find the right dish for those who host me. I can talk about how I fell in love in many places (did I mentioned Ireland yet?) and the experiences I made during my travels.
