Overview
About Me
I live in a small seaside fishing village where we have just moved into an old Victorian house after many years living in Washington DC.
My husband Stuart Chandler is an artist and I am a "generalist", doing a number of things, sometimes all at once.
We raised two children, Dillon and Gwen,
and are just beginning to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Gwendolyn and I plan to backpack around Europe during summer of 2015 so she can see a bit of the world after she graduates college. She has never been out of the US.
Stuart and I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain as pilgrims in 2012 and were moved by the hospitality we were shown. We hope to reciprocate that hospitality to others.
We prefer to be immersed in a culture we visit rather than perching like a tourist bird on top of its surface.

Currently singing in two choral groups...Anglican music and Renaissance madrigals.
