About to become a second-year student, I am interested in meeting a wide range of people who I can have a fun time with and learn from. My interests are wide-ranging... from Eastern cultures to learning new languages, and about other's beliefs and values. Trying new things is my thing: travelling, amateur dramatics, hiking, a bit of cycling, rowing traditional Seine river boats... I like to keep challenging my perceptions and have been a volunteer at a homeless charity and a member of an Interfaith group.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To become more open-minded by having thoughtful discussions in a situation where no one's wearing their social masks. To have a cultural exchange and a laugh! To pick up tips and tricks about where to find the most culturally interesting, relaxing or pretty places locally. To practise my French. To go out and have a good time :)

Music-wise, I like alternative, rock, classical music and would love to get more into jazz, rap etc... My favourite bands include Alt-j, St. Vincent, The National, Muse, Arcade Fire, Laura Marling, Arctic Monkeys, etc.
