Hello !
My name is Alice and I love travelling and discovering new places, new landscapes, new cultures, and sharing different points of view or life experiences with other people. But above all else, I love cats, drinking tea, watching the moon, and speaking with other people to learn more about their experiences, their fun stories and to share ideas with them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's great to meet people and talk with persons from different countries, cultures, or even towns !
The idea of sharing a short amount of time with someone we don't know and then getting to know this person a little is great!
Also, i think CouchSurfing is a good way for young people like me to travel and meet various personns !

Adding to that, i began Couchsurfing last year in Amsterdam with a friend and it was such a wonderful experience that i 'd absolutely love to try again :D

BOOKS i love :

i love all things related to illustration : illustrated books for children are therefore a type of reading i particularily enjoy!
i loved the harry potter series, which is now a big part of my life :)
there's also Les fourmis, from Bernard Werber and basically all the stories of Roald Dahl !
also Camus' writings especially Les Justes and L'étranger

FILMS i find great :

the Harry POtter series of course ^^ and all the films from Wes Anderson, especially Life Aquatic :) The films from Tim Burton are amazing as well!
Swiss Army Man was a great surprise, and i have a special something for Georges Méliès, the french inventor of special effect in cinema :) I also love Quentin Dupieux's cinema and Godards' films from the 60s :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I succeeded to lift my fat cat up in the air ^^
I nearly died because of rice stuck in my throat x)

I made awesome friends during my studies and discovered humans were the greatest adeventure :)

After 3 years of studying i'm about to take a gapyear : this is my next adventure !

Teach, Learn, Share

what can i teach you ?... i know how to make an origami bat and i can also play the guitar !
I am also able to teach you how to make a cake without following the recipe at all ! (at your own risks ^^)

if you know how to play the harmonica i would be really excited to learn a few tricks ! I love small, pocket-sized instruments because it means you can bring music with you everywhere :)

i'm always happy to share a drink with friendly people !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ideas, jokes, good moments, and friendship ! But also some good conversations about time, life or any subject !
I'm glad to help with the house chores of course, such as the dishes :)

Most of all, i'm here to share an experience : it means respecting one's own space, but also being outgoing and discovering the host. To me, couchsurfing is not only having a place to sleep, it's above all else having the opportunity to share thoughts about life, and good moments !
