My boyfriend Tim and I are currently in Italy for four months to learn the language (I’m not good yet but I’m slowly getting better!) and of course indulge my love of food. Mostly we been working for board but we are in Bologna to do a language course for a week so we don’t have time to work but we still want to experience the culture, meet new people and hopefully practice a bit of Italian!

Spent 24 days trekking in the Himalayas, starting in the Tsum Valley, hiking through the Manaslu Circuit and ending in the Annapurna Range

Worked for a family of nomadic goat herders in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia.

Travelled the length of the Trans-Mongolian Railway from Shanghai to St Petersburg with a number of stop offs including the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Warriors in Xian and Lake Baikal in Siberia.
