Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting people from different countries and cultures, because I find that these experiences teach me a lot - about the world, myself and others. All the international interactions I have had so far have deeply shaped the way I look at my surroundings and they opened up new perspectives and doors that had before been closed. I have enjoyed myself so much in this process that I just want it to continue. Couchsurfing then seems to be the perfect tool - it not only allows me to find accommodation during my travels (for free, which as a student is very important XD ), but more than that it offers me the opportunity to meet new people that can share with me their experiences and with whom I can share mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading a whole lot. I love all sorts of books. One of my favorite books is "Blindness" by José Saramago.
Some of my favorite movies are "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain", "I am Daniel Blake", "Trainspotting", "The Piano" and "Amour".
My favorite types of music are indie pop and rock. Some of my favorite artists are Tame Impala, Father John Misty, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Patti Smith, The Last Shadow Puppets and lots more...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge of Portuguese, my mother tongue. A lot of stories, about my life and all sorts of other things (although don't expect them to be epic). A good conversation about almost any kind of subject or topic.
