Hi everyone :)

I'm Alice and I'm a 23 year old living in London, taking two months to travel around Spain and Italy (lucky me!!!).
I am very outgoing and love spending time with friends, old and new. In my free time I love staying active, going to the gym, walking around new cities, cycling, netball and running. I absolutely love to dance (although some of my moves are questionable), and most importantly I love to EAT! I have a passion for all things foody (and wine), so when I'm not out trying new restaurants, I am home cooking for my friends and family. I love going to exhibitions and museums so I would really appreciate any recommendations people can give me :)

My friends would describe me as a very happy, positive person that loves to meet new people, and learn about new cultures. I have a large collection of terrible jokes that I am very willing to share, and a great taste in music (even if I do say so myself).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am travelling alone, I am couchsurfing to hopefully meet some new people and make some new friends!! Lots of my friends have couchsurfed in the past and have all have really positive experiences that you just can't have from staying in hotels. I want to immerse myself in Spanish and Italian culture, so hopefully couchsurfing will be the best option for this. I am also hoping to spend my budget mostly on travelling between cities and on seeing/ trying new things, so hopefully couchsurfing will give me a little more flexibility to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is fairly varied, but I love funk, soul, disco, electronic, house and techno. At the moment I am listening to Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, but I also love old school Al Green, Chic and Earth Wind and Fire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spear fishing for salmon in Fiji and cooking it for a hostel full of friends that same evening. We all ate around the fire and shared stories (and lots of beer).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, and very happy to teach some dishes from all over the world (and hopefully learn something myself).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to be able to cook and help around in the house, whilst sharing stories and experiences. We can chat, eat, drink or meditate together.

If you are interested in exercise, I have a lot of experience in working out and playing sport, so I am very keen to do this with you.
