I am come in Quebec City to begin my PhD in the chemistry department of Université de Laval. I would like to discover the city and a lot of people there. I think my PhD will be quite time consuming but I don't want to lock myself in the laboratory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allow to meet a lot of different kind of people but also to find partners for activities.

Interests

I love winter activities and I want to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy cross-country ski or ice-skating. I like also climbing and I am looking for a good place to climb indoor and outdoor.
I appreciate to do cultural activities: to watch movies, to see exhibitions.

Music, Movies, and Books

For the books, a lot of French authors: Pierre Lemaitre, Delphine De Vigan, Virginie Despentes...
But also Turkish ones: Elif Shafak
Or American: Jack London
And British: John Le Carré.

For movies I am found of Japan animated films. But also thrillers and detective films and series ("The Fall" at the moment). They are great films as "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Le dernier jour du reste de ma vie" which just deal with normal family life. My favorite funny movies are "La chèvre" and "Artérix et Obélix mission Cléopâtre" (French ones of course :P)
