About Me

(I'm from the UK but have family in Nanaimo, BC, Canada so that's my temporary base.)
ABOUT ME
I'm all about the outdoors - hiking, camping, learning about birds/animals/plants/trees, nature-based spirituality - and trying to live in the world in a way which is conscious of the environment and has minimal impact.
I love meeting new people and hearing stories. My natural state is quite quiet but I love good, heartfelt conversation.
I'm very tidy and clean up after myself, and always try my best to avoid conflict, so tend to get along with people easily.
I don't really have a profession yet as I had to start from scratch after falling out of love with my degree, but I'm just taking things one step at a time for now and will see what happens.
CURRENT MISSION
To find myself and what I'm really meant to be doing in the world.
To do this I backpacked around western Canada/US for 6 months and am now back in Canada on a 2 year IEC work visa.
I'm currently trying to figure out what my intuition wants me to do next rather than letting my head push me back into what society's expecting of me, so I'm continuing to wander for a while before finding a job.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a decent cook so could help with that and share a few tips on food and nutrition.
I can teach about some of the plants and trees I've become familiar with while being over here, and always love to share about spiritual knowledge I've accumulated through my travels through religion and alternative spirituality.
