ABOUT ME

I'm intelligent and sassy. My friends would say I'm also very mature and independent. I am second-generation American, born and raised, with Chinese heritage. This is my third and last year living in Europe, because I'm ready to go back home to America. I lived in Hong Kong for two years before I moved to Barcelona, where I worked/enjoyed life for a year and learned Spanish. My Spain adventure continued in the beautiful of San Sebastian, where I am doing another Master program. Now I am doing the final year of my program, in Nancy, France, a tiny city in the region of Lorraine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf every where I travel, and I hosted many travellers in my home in Barcelona.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a couchsurfing Euro trip during Christmas 2013, in which I couchsurfed at each of my seven cities. It was the best experience of my life. After that, I can't imagine ever traveling again to a new city without connecting with couchsurfers there. There are a lot of good people in the world.

Interests

I play the violin somewhat seriously, and I have played for 13 years. I love playing Dance Dance Revolution, and I played a lot in college. I love reading for hours on end. Finally, I always enjoy a game of billiards (American pool).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I performed as a soloist with a full orchestra Lalo's "Symphonie Espagnole", a 40-minute violin concerto with five movements. Looking back, I have no idea how I was able to memorize the whole piece nor how I could stand on the stage for that long without tiring and without making any major mistakes.
