Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pourquoi je suis sur couchsurfing? Pour aider les gens dans le besoin. Je me suis joint à couchsurfing pour offrir de l'aide de dernière minute à des gens mal pris (une fois quand j'étais en vacances j'ai raté mon train et j'ai du dormir sur un sofa dans le hall d'entrée d'un hôtel avec tous mes bagages, ce n'était pas amusant).

JE N'AI PAS de chambres de disponible mais le mot couchsurfing m'a fait réaliser que J'AI DES SOFAS que les gens peuvent utiliser (un endroit chaud pour dormir est un endroit chaud pour dormir). Et même durant l'été je peux mettre quelques tentes dans ma cour arrière pour de la place d'extra.

Why am I on couchsurfing? To help people in need. I joined couchsurfing to maybe offer last minute help to people who are stuck (once when I was on vacation I missed my train and I had to sleep on a couch in a hotel lobby with all my luggage, it wasn't fun).

I DON'T HAVE any rooms available but the word couchsurfing made me realize that I HAVE COUCHES people can use (a warm place to sleep is a warm place to sleep). Maybe also during the summer I could put a few tents in my backyard for extra sleeping space.

Por qué estoy en couchsurfing? Para ayudar a gente que lo necesita. Estoy en couchsurfing para ofrecer ayuda de último minuto (una vez cuando estaba de vacaciones me perdí mi tren y tuve que dormir en un sofá en un vestíbulo de un hotel con todo mi equipaje, no era divertido).

NO TENGO habitaciones disponibles pero la palabra "couchsurfing" me hace dar cuenta que TENGO SOFAS que la gente puede usar (un lugar cálido es un lugar cálido). Y también mientras el verano puedo poner tiendas de campaña en el patio trasero para espacio adicional para dormir.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have helped a sick friend, for free, since April 2014 until now, 2017 (she has moved back to her mom's place for now) once a week, every week; with bringing her to her appointments, helping her with errands and groceries, etc. 4 hours every time, and some times almost 8 hours. If I were sick I'd love to have someone to help me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Help teach people about compassion, helping others, living as simply as possible. I try to have less material things and try to focus on having more experiences in life, traveling, helping others in need. It's good to think about ourselves too, "DON'T FORGET YOU", but we need to find a balance between that and helping other people at the same time.
