Overview
About Me
I currently swing between being a student and a baker in the grey but charming Aberdee. I've always loved to travel and meet new people from different cultures, desire which just increased after attending a UWC (a sort of international school with a twist) in Canada. I'm a very open-minded and flexible person, and tend to be optimistic, maybe even a bit too much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing seems the key to be a traveller and not a tourist. It allows me to meet genuine like-minded people and experience the authentic culture of the place I visit. It also gives me a chance of appreciating more the places where I live and look at them through the eyes of a traveller, not just a resident.

Movies: anything by Studio Ghibli, Everything is Illuminated, It's kind of a funny story, the Jane Austen Book Club, Friends, Pushing Daisies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossing half Canada on a bus in the winter.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to cook/bake anything I can, or some words from languages I know, or some (simple) tunes on the Ukulele, or how to knit!!
I'm happy to learn anything you feel like sharing about your culture and where you are from.
I'm eager to share and collect particular recipes to go in my littleorangebookofrecipesfrompeopleImeet (that really shouldn't be a single word).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll share my time, my food, my company, my experience of the place I live in, my books and my floor/bed/couch.
