About Me
Hello everyone!
I'm Alice, an enthusiast world-discoverer, mostly interested in everything relating to arts and culture. Poetry, painting, photography, literature, films, performances, you name it!
Since I grew up with the great chance to have many opportunities to travel since a very young age, I've always been fascinated and passionate about discovering new landscapes, new people and new perspectives. Every travel is a new opportunity to open your eyes and get to understand the world you live in a bit more. It helps me enrich my reflexion and creative work as well, which is one the main gain of it all for me.
I left France when I was 20, first spending a few months in London and then heading to Germany, where I still live today. I first spent a year in Leipzig before moving to the buzzing and beautiful Berlin. I try to take the time to go on the roads as often as I can, often with my amazing partner Simon by my sides.
Stay curious and open to every new places and faces, that's what I am giving my best to try to do constantly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is no better way to get to know a place and a culture than getting to know people who live in it. My approach of traveling is focused on the human experiences that travel brings to you, not on the touristic aspect of it all. So obviously Couchsurfing sounds like the perfect option to get to travel this way and get the most of the whole experience! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
The Beatles, The Doors, Iggy Pop, The Velvet Undergound, David Bowie, Oasis, The Kinks and many more icons of the 60s/70s were the playlist of my younger self.
Still listening to these classics, I although moved to electronic music (mostly house & techno) as a new real passion. Disco, german pop and trash are also some of my guilty pleasures....!
-----
There are too many amazing films to write them all here, but I can quote Leos Carax, Jean-Luc Godard and Éric Roehmer as my favourite directors
-----
Same problem of quantity for books, but I read mostly essays & poetry, even though the novels from Jack Kerouac or Simone de Beauvoir also count among my favourite books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living abroad and meeting the people who are now part of my everyday life has been the most beautiful thing I ever got to experience I guess.
Does that sound cliché? Yes it does, sorry aha, but it's true though! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I couldn't advise enough everyone to write as much as one can. Writing is such an infinite source of inspiration, and also a great help to understand oneself better, as well as a great gift when it comes in the form a letter, or a song, or a poem...!
