I love to travel and visit new countries, meeting people and learn about other cultures. I try going abroad at least once per year (usually on my holidays). I am easy going and always up for a chat over a good cup of coffee. I am an independent traveler but I also enjoy my host's company if you are available to show me around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard about couchsurfing from my brother (who is traveling around the world) and I decided to give it a try on my last holidays and I enjoyed it very much. I found it to be a great way to visit new places, not like a tourist but like a local.

Many, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, hikes, listening to music, watching movies, baking and cooking, also eating =) .

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classical music like, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, and also pop, country, oldies,... I like the author Nicholas Sparks and have read a few of his books lately. And movies I enjoy all types but horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to South Africa I had the chance to ride an ostrich around a ranch. That was super awesome. =))
