Overview
About Me
I am concerned about the state of our environment - global warming, disappearing species, degrading soils etc. I have been an environmental activist for the past 10 years as part of a group called Earthlife Africa. I helped organise the Durban Women's March in solidarity with the Women's March on Washington, as well as the March Against Monsanto in Durban. I love permaculture and working towards a sustainable future. I am a nature lover and I love hiking, travelling, wild places, camping, diving and cycling. I am vegetarian. I would like to see us transition to a sustainable world where there is equality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and I would like to meet people who have travelled and hear their stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went travelling in Costa Rica on my own. I climbed Mount Chirripo the highest mountain and explored permaculture projects.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am studying Sustainable Development at the Sustainability Institute in Stellenbosch and I would like to share ideas about how we can live in harmony with the natural world and stop destroying the planet. I love going to the beach so would be happy to show you our beaches if I have time.
