Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't think of a better way to experience somewhere new than with like minded locals, I think it will be really interesting to meet new people from all over the world and have a deeper understanding of a place than I would get from the guide book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically I have a very varied and eclectic taste, I can literally enjoy anything from acid techno to Bulgarian folk. Spotify premium is one of the best choices I've ever made on a direct debit. A few of my favourites include:

I don't watch that many movies or TV in general to be honest (except Game of Thrones which is the best show I've ever watched) but my favourite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inception, The Lord of the Rings and Space Jam.

I love all the books, I'm addicted to reading. So hard to pin down a favourite, but I love The Ground Beneath Her Feet by Salman Rushdie, anything by David Mitchell, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffeneger, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, Shantaram by Greggory David Roberts, The Harry Potter books and Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins.
