About Me
Hey I'm Alice!
I grew up in a small town but moved to Berlin a couple of years ago. I enjoy travelling very much, unfortunately I don't get around that much anymore since I started nursing school and only have 30 days off per year :D ( I know it's still pretty good).
On my travels I look for places and people from all over the world, experience other cultures, languages, music, food, ways of living life. I like me some sightseeing here and there (especially nature/wildlife) or going on adventures but I'm also totally down to chill a day or two. A good mix is perfect for me.
I've been on a vegetarian/pescetarian diet for years now but I'm cool with whatever lifestyle as long as you also have a basic understanding of respect, tolerance and empathy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the concept of couchsurfing. Meeting down-to-earth people, interesting talks and experience a different life. I live in a shared apartement with 3 boys and we don't have an extra room for people to sleep in so I unfortunately haven't hosted anyone yet though someone could crash on my couch. So you can try and message me if it's possible but I can't promise anything as I am working in shifts and often leave Berlin on the weekends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Summer 2012 I travelled through Ireland and surfed a couple couches
Some couchsurfing experience in New York, Boston, D.C., Philadelphia, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London
(I really should ask people to write some reviews :D)
Interests
Now that its getting warmer outside I'm really looking forward hanging out with my friends in the park or at the lake, having a bbq and playing flunky ball (oh I can teach you if you dont know it!), on colder/rainy days I love to stay in cook or play N64 or Playstation with my roommates or simply watch a good movie (everything 420 friendly). At night we like to go out to "rustic" bars where the beer is cold and cheap. I sometimes go dancing but I'm definitely not the typical berlin electro fanatic club girl. (Music taste below) ... I sing, play some guitar, a little Keyboard/piano and always wanted to get steady with music making but I havent found the right band or inspiration yet and with a 40 hour week - job I usually cant get myself to really work on it hard enough. But I plan to spend more time on it soon.

Everything from A-Z. I'm a binge watcher, I like every genre
Music
same... almost every genre, I collect my favourites out of every corner. As long as the song tells me a story i like or can identify with or I can hear that the artist put a lot of heart in his/her project I am happy to listen.
What I usually listen to: folk, indie, rock, metal, hip hop (more old school) acoustics, soundtracks, reggea, pop, musicals, classical music
Books
In this technological world its sometimes hard for me to choose a book over netflix. but I am really trying to get more into reading to stimulate some other regions in my brain :D
books I'm interested in: novels, thriller, historics, biographys,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Night out in Vegas. drinking. singing Bon Jovis "It's my life". Forget everything after that. go to sleep at 5. get up at 6 to go skydiving
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love to get tips and ideas. I'm also up for anything and love to try out new things. I am a little clumsy and get bruised easily but I get by. I really wanna get a scuba diving lisence.
I think after reading my profile you know me pretty well now. You can pick out anything you think I can do and I'll try to teach you :D
And I wanna see your flunky ball skills!
