ABOUT ME

There are few things I'm really passionate about, but definitely travelling and doing social service are the main ones. Since my first long trip - I spent 6 months in Costa Rica when I was 17 - I couldn't stop moving. Yes, learning different things everyday, meeting new people, living the day at the fullest, eating tasty food, getting used to every kind of weather, all this is quite addictive. But there's no better way to know a culture than doing social service. You get in touch with local people, share close experiences, understand different way of thinking and living... and you also do something good for a country that is already giving you so much. And this is something I could really do for my whole life.
I spent a year in Pondicherry, India, working for a Ngo called Baby Sarah's Home, where 110 children live - 40 with different kind of disabilities and 70 orphans. It is an amazing place, full of love and smiles. It has been such a great experience, these children really touched my soul deeply.
I'm currently back in Europe, and I moved to London looking for a job I liked - which I found! I'm working as a nanny for two great children and I couldn't be happier about that. I now live in a warehouse with 14 people, and even though it is truly amazing, we are already too many and we don't have a spare room, so I'm afraid I can't host anyone at the moment - Sorry!

Live with the flow, you'll never know what is going to happen tomorrow, one day I want to look back at my life not having any regret. I want to make every day a day to remember.
I hate complaints, if you don't like something just make your best to change it. You can always make the difference in what you believe.
I'm lucky because I was born in a nice country, at a right time, in a family who loves me.. I keep remind me how lucky I am but I'm also very conscious that too many people have not been, and it feels just natural to try to do something for them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted several times, but I had the chance to host only few times, since I'm often travelling around and I usually don't have a fixed place to live. But I had the best experiences in both cases and I really love couchsurfing, you get to know very interesting people!

Interessen

I love to walk, jump in the sea, climb mountains, explore hidden places, talk to people, dance salsa, lay on an hammock, gardening, play with children, read, feel the wind combing my hair, laugh, write on my diary, take a flight, not to wear shoes, stare at the stars.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hiked 10 days on the Himalayas and slept under the stars at almost 5000 meters.
Met the most friendly people ever in Costa Rica and took a bath in two oceans.
I've seen the eternal flames in Turkey.
I've been called "sister" by hundred of indian children.
Crossed the Mekong river.
Thought I would die on the Nairobi - Kilimanjaro flight.
