My loves are roaring fires, festivals, poetry and music. Also travelling to foreign climes to drink their beer and sample their seasides. I feel lucky to have lived in the USA for a year and to have stayed in India for 3 months when I graduated because I couldn't find a job. Now it's 3 years later and I have four jobs (I think I went a bit over the top...).

I like trying new things. I especially like meeting new people. Everyone has something interesting going on. I like people who consider themselves as still growing and who get really excited discussing something important to them, be it different types of lichen or guitar amps or body language.

Unabashed enthusiasm for something is the best. Oh, and nothing beats a good ol' swim in the sea.

It's the best way to travel! I've also hosted in Canterbury and have loved the people I've met through the website. All round, it's just been a great experience.
