Overview
About Me
I was born in France but both my parents are English so I'm actually British. (Even if deep inside I am sure I am a latina stuck in a gringo body)
I love travelling and meeting new people of any generation, and I especially appreciate people who have a wicked sense of humour.
I'm extremely independent, pretty hard-working, but mostly hard-playing! I am really hard to offend and enjoy a bit of banter (be warned!)
I love music- either playing or listening. I also like to sway my body weight from side to side occasionally whilst waving my arms about when I hear a song I like (also known as dancing).
I moved to the UK in August 2008, backpacked around South America in 2009 and went to Uni until graduating in June 2014... I studied chemical engineering but I've mostly been doing odd jobs since graduating to save up for travelling. Since the start of 2016 I'm worki as an engineer though, back to business, got a job in a start-up.
In a bout of procrastination I took this personality test, I guess it's kind of accurate.
How Rare Is Your Personality? -> Your Personality is Very Rare (ENTP)
Your personality type is optimistic, curious, enthusiastic, and open.
Only about 4% of all people have your personality, including 3% of all women and 5% of all men.
You are Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving.
PHILOSOPHY
Be wild!
I believe that within reason, life is what you make it, so when I do something I usually go to the extreme and REALLY do it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
PLEASE NOTE: I don't reply to people who have no references. If you've only joined couchsurfing for a free place to crash (or to use it as a dating site) then please don't get in touch!
I'm a sociable creature, so this is a great way to meet people. Plus I love travelling so it blends that in as well...
I do my best to participate as much as I can in going to CS events, meeting CSers.. I have done quite a few events in London and met a few people abroad as well.
Sadly I have been busy with Uni this past few years so I have been off the CS scene for a while- Getting back into it now I've got more spare time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch much TV, but I like In Bruges and Budapest hotel .. I like mostly funny, witty movies. Not good with cringe. And no good at watching horror movies...
TV series soft spots: Boston Legal, Parks and Rec crack me up.
Bookwise I'm more or less the same as for movies, my all time favorites are Stephen Clarke's books: "a year in the Merde", "Merde actually", "Merde happens" and "dial M for Merde" (not very academic... )
Music I'm not really fussed... the only thing I really haven't got any time for is french Rap and RnB...! Otherwise I like loads of different things, I'll listen to anything once.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba-dived my phobia of fish out of myself -terrifying but awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I can teach english or french... or some maths if you're in a geeky mood?
I can cook a bit, but I'm no chef! I'm good at chatting and listening.
I think everyone has a good story to tell... so spill the beans!

Hosts, I promise I'll be a good guest! Happy to share stories, cook, make music, go out on the town or chill at home... whatever feels right in the moment!
