CURRENT MISSION

My current mission in life is to improve my way of living by becoming knowledgable about the world around me and meeting new people to share with and learn from.

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, approachable, free spirited and fun loving girl. I studied History of Art at Soas in London and have recently moved back down south closer to my cornish roots and have landed in Bristol, a lovely creative city :) I love making friends and having good conversations. I like parties and festivals,I love travelling and finding out about the history of the countries I go to and reading books about them while I'm there. I also love mixing with the local people of the places I visit.

I have done alot of travelling before university and in every break from studying i got the chance I was off travelling again, I got to a point where i couldn't stop but then my resources ran out and it was time to settle for a bit :) however, I'm sure it won't be for long. During my adventures I often accepted peoples help along the way; so i would like the chance to show the same warmth and hospitality to other travellers in return! I am trying to work out what exciting venture I want to follow next in my life, but I know whatever it is, it will definitely involve more travelling!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Despite joining up last summer I haven't yet used my account but now I as I am soon to travel to Zadar all thanks to my best friends amazing impulsive nature and the super cheap deals on pirate holidays we are looking for some lovely folks to stay with during our trip! I would also love the chance to host people here in Bristol and to show people around the area I now call home:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to the couch surfing experience but can't wait to be involved in this amazing global community!

 Reading. I enjoy reading magazines focusing on current contemporary art trends and keeping up to date with current visual art practices using online sources such as the online edition of ArtForum international. I am also a member of the Association of Art Historians and enjoy reading their newsletters and attending talks and events.
 Visiting art galleries/museums and world heritage sites including Anchor Watt, Borobudur, The Taj Mahal, The Kremlin, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China. I have been a member of the Tate Modern for the last four years.
 Food. I enjoy worldwide cuisine and the social aspect of finding and visiting exciting and different restaurants throughout the city.
