ABOUT ME

I'm a student of Corporate communication at the University of Milan. I moved back to my hometown around one year ago after living four years in Amman, Jordan. I'm now about to board on a new summer adventure: I will be in France (precisely in Haute Savoie) for the month of July 2018, babysitting and practicing my French. I hope to see amazing places and to meet amazing people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Antwerp, Belgium. It has been a great experience. I also couchsurfed in Amman, Jordan, right after my arrival. It was such a extreme couple of days that surprised me so much that after that all the rest of my life in Jordan sounded very European... Ahaha. My friends and I actually remember that couchsurfing at Khada's with great affection.
With my ex boyfriend Wasef, I couchsurfed in Trieste, Solvenia and Austria. (Please check his profile if you need more reviews about me, as we were always using his!)
I also hosted a number of people that either were already friends or became friends in the process while in Amman, but never through official Couchsurfing.

兴趣

I enjoy travelling, studying languages and discovering facts about them. I love riding bikes and intensive hiking on the Alps. Mountains are my safe space, the check of my balance, the most beautiful environment I've ever seen.
I practice yoga (Ashtanga and hatha)
and I keep a blog. If you speak some Italian please check it out! It's called "Giordania (e altri paesi) delle Meraviglie" and you find it on Facebook!
I also experienced theatre and belly dance, which made me discover some of my inner personality.

A big, eternal crush on Michael J Fox in Back to the future doesn't prevent me from loving also so called essay films especially from almost unknown directors. Love Italian films, especially "Mediterraneo" and "Ecce Bombo".
Second big eternal crush is on Cat Stevens and his songs.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Trekking for whole weeks in the Alps, experiencing Ramadan in a muslim country, mobìving back to my home country and seeing it with new eyes, running in the desert in summer sunny afternoon, dancing salsa in a rainy summer night in Brussels, visiting Transnistria (it really exists), going upside down in yoga classes, falling in love.

Couchsurfing is about sharing.
So I would love to give back to them in terms of stories and I hope they will enjoy my company.
If they wish to visit some place around where they live and they never find the occasion, I'm happy to be the occasion and a travel buddy!
I wish they wouldn't treat me as a guest, but more as a flatmate. This attitude towards guests is one of the best things I've liked of Americans when I lived there!
