Where to start! My name is Alice, I am an American student currently studying abroad in Graz, Austria. I love my home country and everything it has to offer, including delicious craft beer, live music, and laid-back towns. I am also immensely enjoying getting to know all the things that other countries have to offer, such as a wide selection of delicious food, impeccable public transportation, and amazing landscapes and architecture.

Something that I also love is science and discussion. Educated and friendly debate about politics, humanity, philosophy, and ideas over dinner and wine is one of the greatest ways to spend an evening with friends. That being said, I also like to cook (and eat) delicious food.

At home, I work as a backpacking guide in (one of the few remaining) temperate rain forests. I am a wilderness therapy professional and believe deeply in the healing powers of nature for everyone. I also love backpacking in my free time and am currently trying to plan a trip in the Alps before it gets too cold!
