Back in the UK after the most incredible year in Quebec and looking to carry on with my positive couchsurfing experience here in Europe.

ABOUT ME

I'm lively, chatty and a bit of neat freak. A horse rider, skier and a lover of all things Scandinavian; so if you know any Danish, Swedish or Norwegian, I'd love to learn!

Currently training to be a languages secondary school teacher, so living back in student digs with limited spare space. I therefore don't really have much time or space to host at the moment, but looking forward to hosting in the future once I'm settled! :) I'm more than happy to hang out in Oxford though and give tips for anyone visiting the UK!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had such an incredible time in North America and stayed with some truly interesting and awesome people (some who have even become good friends) and so I'm keen to carry on spreading the couchsurfing love in Europe :)

Centres d'intérêt

I'm at my happiest when I'm skiing (alpine and x-country), but I generally like to be outdoors. I really enjoy walking/hiking, running, cycling, horse riding or even just sitting in a park with a good book. When I need to unwind I enjoy swimming. I would really like to learn more winter sports, so if you can recommend any to me, I'm all ears!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: An eclectic mix...Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Tears for Fears, A-Ha, Fleetwood Mac, The Arctic Monkeys, Imogen Heap, Maroon 5, James Blake, London Grammar, Rhye, MØ...but my life wouldn't be complete without the legend that is David Bowie.

Books: I do love a good Scandi crime thriller. I am also currently tackling my way through The Lord of the Rings.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you French and many Lincolnshire-isms/ colloquial Northern English words (and maybe even some Quebecois too). I would love to learn more languages, especially any Scandinavian languages, and I'd love someone to help me learn how not to fail at snowboarding...
