ABOUT ME

Hey everyone!
I used to work as an ICU nurse in Brussels, but lately felt like I didn't belong to that life anymore. So I packed my stuff and moved to Lapland for a couple of winter seasons where I worked in a remote wilderness hotel as a receptionnist.I travelled quite a lot, hoping to find a place I could finally call home and it wasn't until I visited Scotland a couple of years ago that I felt I found it and decided to move here.
So here's my next big adventure, let's see how it goes!
Mostely intersted in Nature, wilderness, the outdoors, I've grown to fear cities and crowds but ironicaly will always be down to sit in a pub with a pint or a wee dram.

PHILOSOPHY

To quote Paul Morand "The one who leaves will be torn but the one who stays will fall appart". Always have the capacity to be surprised. Also, the things we regret the most are those we haven't done or said.

I think people need more trust and less fear. I've always loved to meet people from around the world and I think that, now more than ever, we need to reach out to the unknown (people or place) to realise it's not that scary at all ;)

兴趣

Well I guess my favorite topic would mostly be travels. Just love traveling and meeting people and different cultures and all. I've seen quite a few places already from Canada to Norway to Greece but there's still soo much to discover. I love hiking and camping out. I'm also interested in spirituality in general (whatever it means)

I do think that the most important things you've gotta learn come from life itself and are gonna be tought by experiences, bad or good. And of course by the people you meet along the way.
