New to couch surfing!!! Looking to have a great first experience when I come to New York/Canada in summer! a 22 year old teacher currently living in Eastbourne on the south coast of the U.K.! I work for a charity called Teach First (similar to Teach for America) so work in a school in a low income area. My Master's degree is in women's studies so I love teaching critical theory and challenging their perceptions. I hope to do a PHD someday if the government will give me money to apply feminist philosophy to women's cinema.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love folk and country music, which is why I love coming to America so much! Love to see bands and have a good jig!!

My favourite books are seen through the lens of my pupils now. You just cannot beat teaching To Kill a Mockingbird. Favourite book will always be Mrs Dalloway.

I feel like when you work in education every day is amazing.....but graduating from Oxford is the thing I'm proudest of !
