ABOUT US

Pierre-Yves:
I had studen Architecture and Urban planing... enough to discover that I don't want to work for that.... so i'm specialize in ecology and rural development. I work in a organic shop as Fruit and Vegetable seller.
Since I'm young, I travel around the world with my steewart oncle, Alice and friends.

Alice :
I'm Artistic producer , specialize in street art and popular education. Between 2012 and 2013 I worked in an association in Paris with many kind of publics(Mental deases, prisoners, childrens, neighbourghood...).I was in charge to plan with them some kind of artistic events or projects.
Now I work in a school and in a city theater as a little job, waiting for a real one...
My parents travel a lot and my father is violin maker and musician fan world music....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We met fives year ago, during an Erasmus exhange in Finland in 2008. We went there to discover a Nature courtry and a different culture. But we watched a documentary about Mongolia and we strait decided to go there together. In fact we just find the way of life of the mongolian nomads intersting : they let grass grown up after they stayed a bit in a place with ther yourth...
But we didn't wanted to travel with plane. We find it's to fast, to bad for the environement and to easy... We wanted to discover again what could be a non-fast journey... a real trip!
So when we were 25 years old, we both left our jobs to live France for our great adventure to Nawakbad, capital of our dreamed country : the Nimportkistan, situaded in Central Asia. We used a lot the couchsurfing web-site during this year and we always had a great experience with our host... we want now to give back this generosity and kindness... to share travels with other and permit people to do the same as us... espacilly in a contry wich is really expensive for travelers of the rest of the world!

We love hiking in wild nature, cooking for hours, sewing and drawing, watching movies, growing vegetables, reading books each-other in a hamac, swimming in lakes, dancing, playing and listening music ...

Going to Nawakbad in Nimportkistan (our imagiray land situated in Central Asia) and discover there different cultures, landscapes and ourselves.

We came back from one year long trip in october2014 and we want to give back the kindness of our hosts everywhere we went...

We just arrive in Villefranche in may 2015 ad we don't know very well the region ! But we are really interested with history and landscapes and we discover it better and better every day!

We can offer you:
our couch to sleep... our kitchen, book shell and garden to rest... our table to discuss, share travels and meet each-other... our better english, and little skills in Russian, Turkich and Finnish.... our cat to play with... our bike to move around... our time, if we have some, to hike, visit and enjoy the Beaujolais region... our knowledges and help if needed...
It can be all or just a part of those things...
