ABOUT ME
Howdy! I'm Alice and I'm currently a student living in Canada on exchange from Perth, Australia. I've been travelling since I was 17 and have travelled extensively through Europe, Australia, the US, and have been to parts of Asia, Central and South America. I'm currently travelling the world for the summer after having just spent my first semester in Calgary, Canada, and am loving life.
At one point in my life I told a good friend of mine that I wanted to meet every single person on the planet, to which she replied "Right... well, you better get to it then"
So here I am.
PHILOSOPHY
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Ok... so this is Ferris Bueller's quote but it's so true. Why wouldn't you live your life by this?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined couch surfing and wondering why I haven't signed up before now. I plan on hosting when I eventually get back to Australia in 2014.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with a few people and so far so good!
Interests
I'm doing a double major in Communications and Linguistics so I love to talk (and listen of course!). I plan on moving to a non-English speaking country and teach English as a second language once I have finished my degree in just over a years time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an extremely diverse taste in music so chances are we'll probably get on fine no matter what you listen to. I'm into jazz because I used to play in a jazz band (double bass), reggae, country (thanks to Canada), indie-rock, blues, and have recently developed a love for 90s punk rock. You may also catch me listening to Australian hip-hop from time to time...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sky diving in New Zealand, drinking and dancing with locals in Cuba, speaking English to people in Argentina who taught themselves English from American sit-coms, spending a week on a boat in Croatia, snowboarding in Canada, sweating from the heat in Hong Kong, living with a host family in the south of France... and many many more
