After quitting my office-job in a girls education/female empowerment NGO, I am about to embark for 6 months volunteering with Kiva.
I'll be based in the Dominican Republic for 4 months followed by 2 in Haiti.

I love being able to discover a place through a local's eye and experience. It's a different way of visiting.
