Get to France and learn lots of new things

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Australia all my life.
I enjoy learning languages and am looking to improve my french by travelling to france in september and studying over there.

I love sport especially hockey and soccer and generally running around.

I also love music and drawing.

I am currently studying french and philosophy in Sydney at the Univeristy of New South Wales. I am about to begin a semester in France on exchange.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing and can't wait to get involved. It seems like such a good way to travel, meet new people and help people discover a culture by staying with a local.
I am about to fly over to france where I will be staying for 5 months but when I get back to Australia I look forwards to hosting people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I currently have no couch surfing experience but can't wait to surf when I go to France and host when I get the opportunity.

Intereses

I enjoy playing music and sport and hanging out with friends over a cup of tea or coffee.
At university I study french and philosophy and am interested in writing. I have also done a drawing course and enjoy being artistic in my own way (despite a lack of obvious talent).

Music: I have been playing the cello since 2007

Sport: I enjoy playing lots of sports, particularly hockey, soccer and tennis.

Movies:
Honestly, I am able to watch most things on a screen even if I don't think they're very good. I recently enjoyed Inception and some of my other favourite movies include: Amelie, l'Auberge Espagnol, The Mummy, Stranger than Fiction... and many more.

Music: I'm always open to new music. Some of my favourite are: Coldplay, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Cold War Kids, Cat Empire, Vampire Weekend, Elliot Smith, Xavier Rudd, Ben Folds, Imogen Heap.

Books: The Eyre Affaire, Jane Austen, The White Tiger (just a few recent ones)

Teach:
Well I can teach the cello and I could have a go at teaching english (as well as french to people who are beginners)

Learn:
Myself, I would love to improve my language skills especially french although I am also keen to learn more spanish and german.
