I'm Alice, a 24yo French girl who moved to Norway in August 2016!

After working for a few months in a wildlife, science and discovery documentary company in Lyon, I've decided to leave my home country to travel around Norway. One month backpacking around were enough to convince me to move in here (that nature tho). After a year and half spent in the lovely town of Kristiansand, I moved to Oslo, where I kept working in films.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been both a host and a surfer and the experience has always been great!
To me, Couchsurfing is more about meeting new people/locals rather than finding a cheap place to stay for the night (even though, let's admit it, it's also useful at times ehe) . Couch surfing is probably one of the best way to travel, meet people, and discover unusual places.

I, unfortunately can't host anyone at the time! But if I can, I'd be pleased to host travelers again :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed quite a lot as a guest in Norway during my trip! And it has been such a good experience to meet all those people!

Other than that, my flatmate Jo and I used to host many people in Lyon during the 10 months we lived there. It's been a great experience during which we had the chance to meet some awesome people from all around the world!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Have played with an orchestra (saxophone) in a huge church in Canada a few years ago.

Have travelled 4000km in Summer 2015, during a week with some friends in the west coast of Scotland. Starting from Edinburgh to the north of Isle of Skye.

3474 km in 4 days on a trip by train from the very southern part of Norway to the Lofoten Islands during winter 2017.
