ABOUT ME

Just finished a semester abroad in Amman, Jordan. I like dry humor and appreciate fellow nerds. Currently studying international relations (with a focus on the Middle East) and mathematics. It's unclear what I will do in the future, but in the meantime I aspire to become a cat.

I'm a firm believer in social justice and living life in a way which opposes all forms of oppression.

Just a couchsurfer at the moment! I don't have a place of my own at the moment, but would love to host couchsurfers in the future.

TV shows: Elementary, Dr. Who, Due South

Music: a mix of post rock, indie, and black metal, although I'm open to trying new genres. Artists I like include Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Do Make Say Think, Slint, of Montreal, Okkervil River, Devotchka, Ulver, Arckanum, Agalloch.

Books: Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Hamlet. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Hiking Angel's Landing in Zion National Park in the snow on Thanksgiving. Hands down the most beautiful place I've been to.
