Hola! I'm a Canadian university student who is currently abroad in Barcelona! I lived near Chicago in the past as well so I'm very interested in cultural exchanges and meeting new people!

I love to travel and see new sights but also experience the "local" lifestyle outside the tourist destinations. I love to exchange different experiences of countries I've lived in to share new perspectives and obviously you need the right people to do that with and couchsurfing offers me that. I also LOVE food--so the opportunity to get insights on hidden gems is amazing.
