About Me
Hello!!
My husband John, and I decided to change things up a little and get out into the world, we feel there is a lot more to the world then one sees hanging out in our home, and hope that travel will offer us experiences that will help us to grow, and expand our views of the world and life.
For the past year John and I have been living in our big yellow sprinter van, working with an artist, and doing trade shows and Art festivals selling our artwork, Phantom Leaves. Recently we caught the travel bug and decided to sell all our things, our van, down size to backpacks and JUST GO!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As of now our plan is to hitch hike our way from our home town of Vancouver Washington, to Boston Massachusetts. We will be catching a flight there, to Dublin Ireland and from there we have no plans yet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think for me, the most amazing thing i've done is making the decision to go on this trip, I have only been to five of the united states, never left the country, and only flown once, from Portland Oregon, to Colorado. I am very excited to push through my comfort zone and expand my understanding of the world
He didnt want me to put this but its one of the most amazing things I ever witnessed, so I insisted. In the summer of 2012 shortly after being certified as a life guard, John helped in the rescue of a little boy who was pulled out into the ocean by an undertow in Rockaway Beach Oregon, recieveing his Eagle Scout a few weeks after. John goes above and beyond for everyone, even at the risk of his life.
