Overview
About Me
Fun-loving and adventure-seeking, I want to see the world and meet its people. For 3 years I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guadalajara, MX at a natural protected area called Bosque La Primavera. I worked with a community on a waste management and recycling project as well as an organic, biointensive gardening project. When I´m not working, I´m adventuring around México. I now live in Querétaro.
That was in 2015. Now in 2024 I’m an anti-oppression coach with hir own business. Currently in Seattle but looking to bounce to the SW at least for the winter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my favorite aspects of traveling is meeting locals and learning about their life as well as how they see, feel, experience their city/town/village, so couchsurfing is a great way to that. Also, as a del-employed person, money is tight and I´d rather spend it on adventures and delicious food than housing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Indie, jazz, soul, electronica, hip hop - I like most music that doesn´t hurt my ears. I´m a closet rom com aficionado, though working on coming out. Lately I´ve been into travel memoirs, classic novels and non-fiction about Mexico, but I love to read and will read just about anything that will hold my attention and take me on an adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ziplined off the Great Wall of China.
Teach, Learn, Share
All day, everyday. I´m on a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and sharing what I learn along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A love of life, an easy sense of humor, a respectful manner, a love of chatting and getting to know people. I highly value the cleanliness and tidiness of visitors without having to ask, so I am that sort of guest. My grandmother taught me to clean up after myself and make my bed when I am a guest, so that I will be asked to visit again, and I´ve never forgotten it.
Countries I’ve Visited
