Overview
About Me
I'm a fairly easy-going and social person. I grew up in Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in biology and secondary science education. I taught middle school science before deciding to uproot and travel. Moved to NYC for a bit but I guess you can say my homebase is my parents' house in Brandon, Florida. I've learned a lot about myself and what I want from life on this journey - to explore the outdoors, to get to know others, and to find joy in the little things around me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music that makes me want to dance - doesn't matter if it's a slowed-down country song or a fast-paced hip hop track, I enjoy it all. I'm a huge fan of reading so it's difficult to decide on favorites, though I suggest Wool by Hugh Howey to anyone who will listen. As for movies, you can pretty much sit me down with anything and I'll enjoy it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. Young Alicia would absolutely lose it if she knew one day she'd have the opportunity to visit!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can certainly teach you about science! If I've got my supplies I can show you the basics of crocheting.
