Overview
About Me
I'm currently a Peace Corps Volunteer serving in a small village outside of Yerevan, Armenia. I love experiencing new cultures and learning new things about a place. I'm terrible at learning languages, but I love listening to (and trying to learn) other languages. I'm super passionate about advocacy work in human trafficking, and I like trying to understand the problem. Oh, LOVE trying new food! And also really love pushing my body through yoga (super inflexible, but I try).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I'm always convinced that my favorite experiences and best memories happen when I'm being shown places and things by locals. I'm on Couchsurfing so I can continue to have that travel experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love most music (not metal), so I don't necessarily have a favorite type--depends on the mood. My favorite movies include Star Wars (Episodes 4, 5, and 6, the new one before the last one), the Indiana Jones Movies (minus the one with Shia LaBeouf). Books--Harry Potter (because JK is a genius), Memoirs of a Geisha--I'll read just about anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Move to a country that I've never been to, to teach English in a village where no one else speaks English, and where I also don't speak the language.
