I'm a grad student at the lovely (but, kind of underwhelming) Hawaii Pacific University. I live with my boyfriend, Christian. I'm originally from a teeny insignificant island in the UK (we're most famous for being a dark money tax haven for people with the last names Bush and Romney). I love living here in Hawaii and try to enjoy every free moment!!!

PLEASE READ: In Hawaii, we get a TON of requests to stay at our place. This means that we get to be picky with who we allow into our home. We are not looking to just offer a free place to stay because you can't afford or don't want to pay for a hotel room. While I empathize with the struggle, that is not why I choose to participate in CouchSurfing. We are looking to share experiences with other human beings who are traveling through our city. If we choose to have you stay with us, it will be because we want to hang out, get to know you, talk stories, share food, go on an adventure together (beach, hike, camp, etc.), and maybe even have a little party or something. If this is not what you are looking for, then please request a different couch. For those of you that wish to share a little life with us, we look forward to your request. Please take note of the following:

1) Don't just send a message. Send an actual request. This makes it easier to manage.

2) If you want to stand out and get noticed and accepted, please give a little detail in your message about why you want to stay with us and what your expectations are.

3) You will be living and sleeping in our common area, so you must be clean and respectful.

We have only recently moved into our apartment and it is lacking in decor. We would love it if you could bring something from your home to help decorate: A picture, sign, magnet, coffee cup, shot glass, or whatever.... We would love to have our home filled and decorated with items from around the world :)
