Kia ora, my name's Alicia 😊 I started traveling in Feb 2017 and can't bring myself to go back to reality just yet. I've volunteered and backpacked my way around Asia and Latin America this trip. I'm ridiculously laid back and never have any plans. I love food and mountains, books and long bus rides (call me crazy). I'm a calm soul who always thinks positively and tries to avoid small chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think you only really ever understand a country and its culture from the local side, not all the touristy stuff. My hope is Couchsurfing can help with that.

I'm interested in good books, learning from other people, skiing, hiking to new places, throwing myself in the deep end and just connecting with people.
