Sobre mí

A proud Caribbean who wants to explore the world and to meet good people… 🤌🏾

I grew up in Martinique 🇲🇶, a small island in the West Indies with 3 big brothers, some friends who are currently still my friends, plenty animals (almost a farm), with a strict education, in a loooot of laughs and huge love so what can I say ? I know the complexity in simplicity haha.

I did my dance studies in Toulouse, around five years and it was awesome ! This city is full of love 🥰 I can dance Jazz, Contemporary, Hip hop, Bharatanatyam, Salsa, Bachata, some African dances, Dancehall, on heels and of course my ancestral dances Bèlè and Zouk.

I came back home one year, lived in Australia for 1 year as well then I explored Filipinaaaas 😍 during one month and I came back to Australia for Christmas and New Year.

The next plan in New Zealand is to visit, work, breathe in the immensity’s nature, have fun and definitely learn the HAKA. I danced all my life, that’s a passion but I also want to do it as my job so.. I’m working on it hardly and to be an eclectic dancer is my heritage. For me the traditional and ancestral dances show almost everything of a culture so being able to learn that of the NZ would be a huge and pure pleasure.

When I was in the Philippines 🇵🇭, I felt myself like home maybe because we’ve got the same vegetation, the same loud and heavy rain (perfect to fall asleep), a simple way of living but so rich and I think I’m feeling the same for the native culture of NZ I mean we’re combative and hard workers and that’s what I Love in Haka : a peaceful and clear message with liberating expressions in a united union.

Anyway ! You can tell I love the culture and love leaning new thinks… Apparently we die less stupid when we learn at least one thing a day 👀😂 so I can’t wait to be smarter.

I can write a lot of things but if you want to know me, it’s better to meet me and it will be with pleasure.

Música, películas y libros

Jazz, Soul, reggae, reggaeton, hip hop, dancehall, gospel, zouk, R&B, pop, afrobeats, country, rock, rap, trap, funk, slam and ethnics musics all around the world.

Inspirational movies, supernatural, action, romance, musical, comedy, horror, animated films, sci fi, historical movies, documentaries, thriller and drama movies 🫶🏽 My favorite ones are based on true stories I think.

For the books it’s the same kind as the movies I watch but I’m reading in Martinican Creole or in French only at the moment so if you’ve got some books to suggest in another language, I’m in !

I just started “La guérison des 5 blessures” by Lise Bourbeau.

My knowledge, my help for anything (but cleaning for sure) and my happiness
